Bighorn sheep or "rams" are really easiy to identify because they have large spiral horns that continue to grow throughout their lives.  An adult ram's horns may measure over 30 inches in length and reach 15 inches around at the base.  Those horns are how Crash got his name. Male bighorn rams live between 9-12 years.  Females or "ewes" live longer, usually betwen 10-14 years. An adult male Rocky Mountain ram weights about 160-250 pounds.  Sometimes they even reach 300 pounds.
