Just as Johnny and Joey receive souvenirs each time they return from one magical land or another, I have started to receive souvenirs of my own. I'd like to share them with you. |

Brittany Suchy is a very special ten-year-old, who lives in California. She took it upon herself to do something very wonderful; Brittany wanted to collect children's books from other authors, and have a fund raiser-all proceeds would go to children who have cancer. I could not let this act of kindness go without contributing. I sent her a copy of The Magic Elevator. In return, Brittany sent me a very nice thank you note, and I just had to share it with you. Thank you, Brittany. |

This is a wonderful picture drawn for me by a six-year-old little girl named Bethanie. She has traveled with Johnny and Joey many times on their adventures, thanks to her dedicated mother who reads to her most every night. |

Christian, from Colorado, will be ten next May, the same age as Joey. He drew me this wonderful picture of the elevator. Great job, Christian, thank you! |
